Photography in the Field
Learn how to improve your technique when photographing outdoors, including subjects such as flowers, landscapes and wildlife. This course will focus on photographing in the field. Students will become familiar with design elements used in composition and develop professional techniques for selective focus, close-ups and subject selection. The first session is an instructional presentation. The following two sessions will be spent in the field. The final session consists of a formal critique of your photographs taken during the field sessions. Film and digital welcome!
Prerequisite: A working knowledge of exposure (f/stop and shutter speed) and the ability to operate your own equipment. Cameras with adjustable controls and/or interchangeable lenses are recommended to receive maximum benefit from the class.
